Jennifer Ann (Little) Van Tassell, age 48, passed away on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the Wellmont Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert E. “Bob” Little and Betty C. Litton Little; her brother Eddie Little and her cat of 23 years, Maggie. She is survived by her husband David C. Van Tassell;her aunt Shirley Tucker and several nieces and nephews.
Many will remember Jennifer as a hostess at Shoney’s, The Third Rail Café and The Brooklyn Café. She also worked at U.S. Solutions before leaving to care for her ailing mother.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday February 21 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy McReynolds officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at least 15 minutes before the service.
