Jimmy Dunford, Sr., 50, of Abingdon passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Dunford; sons, Jimmy Dunford, Jr., Steven, Christopher, Thomas, Charles, Luke, Daniel and Ryan Dunford; daughters, Rebecca Shortt and Ashley Dunford; brothers, David Dunford and Tanner Dunford; sister, Nellie Dunford; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Bill Haywood, Minister officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 1:00 2:00 P.M. Sunday.
