Joe William Warren

Joe William Warren, "Lil Joe", age 68, of Glade Spring, VA passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his home, following a two-year battle with lung cancer. Joe was born July 14, 1956, in Saltville, VA. He was an avid hunter and trout fisherman.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gracie “Mommy Cow” Warren and his parents Alberta S. and Joe B. Warren.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 28 years, Sherri Warren; a brother, Mark Warren and wife, Trisha; his sons, James B. Warren and wife, Tanja of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cody Warren and wife, Samantha of Abingdon, VA; two grandsons, Dylan and Austin Warren and his beloved dog Lima.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11 am until 1 pm, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm William Denton officiating. The burial will be at Rosedale Baptist Church Cemetery with Shane Haga, Eugene Holley, Donnie Allison, Hunter Simms, Mike Allison, and Dylan Warren serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Austin Warren.

 In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

 The family would like to thank Ballad Hospice for the care they provided to Joe during his illness.
