John “Festus” Sproles, age 63, of Glade Spring, VA passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home after a long battle with Parkinsons and Dimentia.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Sproles of Glade Spring, VA; two grandsons, Jonathon Sproles Jr. and partner T. J. Whitby of Glade Spring, VA, Dominic Sproles of Glades Spring, VA; a brother, Henry Sproles and wife of Owensboro, KY; two aunts; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie James Sproles.
It was John’s wish to be cremated. A memorial visitation will be held. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service located at 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210
