John Edward Daggs

Abingdon, VA – John Edward Daggs, age 49, passed on Monday, January 2, 2023, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.  John attended high school in Bristol and Clarksville, TN.  He was a truck driver for a number of years.  John was preceded in death by his father, John Allen Daggs, and beloved aunt, Debbie Jones of Durham, NC; grandmothers, Gladys E. Mills of Abingdon, VA, Mildred C. Daggs of Bristol, VA; and grandfather, Hubert T. Mills of Columbus, OH.

John is survived by his mother, Connie Mills Daggs of Abingdon, VA; his former wife Angus Daggs of Nashville, TN and their three sons, Lucas, Dominick, and Daniel Daggs, all of Nashville, TN; brother, James Curtis Daggs of Appleton, WI; nephews, Devin and Jeryn Daggs of Green Bay, WI; a special friend, Junior Atkins of Clarksville, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Abingdon Church of Christ with Minister Bill Haywood and Nathan Liddle officiating.
