John Durnovich

Abingdon, VA – John Durnovich passed away peacefully in his home on June 25, 2020, at the age of 89.  John was born in Cheswick, Pennsylvania on July 8, 1930, to Michael and Vilma Durnovich.  John was preceded in death by his late wife Janice Beck Durnovich, who passed away in 2001. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Mandy Durnovich of Independence, Virginia; grandchildren, Anna Ventresca, Sara Ernst, and John Michael Durnovich; four great-grandchildren; and his loving companion, Cathy Hess.  The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
