Johnny Edward Stiltner, age 57, left his loved ones to rejoice in heaven with Jesus and the angels on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in High Point, NC. He was a family man who enjoyed watersports and spending time with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evans Stiltner and Ruth Mullins Stiltner; father-in-law, James Ronald Calhoun; brother, Jimmy Lee Stiltner; brother-in-law, Clifton Calhoun; niece, Trinity Branch; and nephew, Keola Denton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rhonda Lynn Calhoun Stiltner; mother-in-law, Lucy Bennett and husband Steven of Charlottesville, VA; two sons, Jonathan Stiltner and wife Donna Kay of the home and Jeffery Stiltner and wife Ashlee of Abingdon, VA; two brothers, Jerry Stiltner and wife Donna, and Jackie Stiltner all of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren, Savannah Addair and fianc�© Brandon, Santanna Addair and special friend Mitchell, McKenzie Stiltner, Bailey Stiltner, Tyler Stiltner, Justin Stiltner, Nakeesha Cox, Noah Cox, and Nevaeh Cox; three great grandchildren, Dawson Bullington, Jordan Bullington, and Rileigh Bullington; caretaker, Kimberly Mutter; and loyal canine companion, Gracie.
Visitation will be from 12:00-1:45 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Family and friends will travel in procession to Forest Hills Memory Gardens for a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday with Pastor Paul Viers and Bro. Rodney Wolford officiating. Pallbearers will be Carl Branch, Devin Branch, Brandon Bullington, Anthony Childress, Steven Fullen, Mitchell Reed, Jeffery Stiltner, and Jonathan Stiltner. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Childress, Chuck Stacy, and Dale Worley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home help defer the cost of final expenses.
