Jonathan Edwin Statzer

Jonathan Edwin Statzer, 80, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Abingdon Manor.
He was born in Washington County, VA on October 16, 1930 to the late Isaac and Pearl Barker Statzer. Eddie was very talented with wood working and made beautiful cabinetry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Ray Statzer; two sisters, Jean Statzer Dye and Judy Statzer Tucker; and two brothers, Paul and Jerry Statzer.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Bass of Fairmont, NC; one brother, Jim Statzer of Meadowview, VA; two sisters, Barbara Graham of Florence, CO and Mary Jones of Midlothian, TX; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be held at the family cemetery in Fairmont, N.C.
