Joseph Scott Hooker

Joseph Scott Hooker passed away on November 23, 2023 at his home. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Southwest Community College. He was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. At the time of his death, he was the parts manager at Turf Pros. Scott was also an avid Virginia Tech Fan.

Scott is survived by his daughter Kendra Shea Hooker; his mother Wilma “Winkie” Barton; brother Richie Hooker (Vicki Donnelly); step-mother, Shirley Hooker; step-sisters, Pam McCracken (Steve) Rhonda Pringle (Wayne), Kimberly Helbert (Rick); and step-brother, Steven Powers. He was preceded in death by his father Joe H. Hooker and step-father Delmar Barton.

Funeral Services for Scott will be conducted on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Main Street Chapel- Farris Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Kevin Campbell officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Main Street Chapel-Farris Funeral Service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Paul Baker, Travis Hooker, Brian Hooker, Byron Farmer, Shane Farmer, Greg Stoots and Dipper Stallard.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. The family of Mr. Joseph Scott Hooker is being cared for by Farris Funeral Service and Crematory - Main Street Chapel, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210, 276-623-2700.
