Abingdon, VA – Josie Ann Jones, infant daughter of Ashley Prater Curtis and Christopher Jones, received her angel wings shortly before birth on Thursday, May 10, 2018, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by several great grandparents.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, McKenzie Curtis, Alexis Curtis, and Maddilyn Jones; maternal grandparents, Paul and Connie Prater of Abingdon, VA; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Linda Jones of Abingdon, VA; maternal great grandmother, Katherine Thomas of Abingdon, VA; maternal great-great grandmother, Edna Vannoy of Abingdon, VA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, in Jones Cemetery, 26766 Denton’s Valley Road, Abingdon, VA 24211, with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating.
