Joyce Dean Spriggs

Joyce Dean Spriggs, beloved wife and mother, passed away in peace at her home on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. She was born in Abingdon, Va. on November 8, 1956.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Dean Ball; mother, Hazel Ball; and brother, David Ball.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bobby Spriggs, Jr.; seven children: Susan Kiser and husband, Ryan; Angie Lisk and husband, Tom; Robert Spriggs III and wife, Heather; Reva Spriggs; Lily Spriggs, who was also her best friend; John Spriggs; and Mark Spriggs; sister, Sara Denton and husband, John; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a remarkable wife, mother and compassionate human being who went out of her way to help others. She had a tremendous love for her family and animals. She was also a talented florist and loved planning celebrations with her family. She will be missed more than words can express and our love for her will be forever in our hearts as we cherish all the great memories she helped to create.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
