Bristol, VA – Judy Carol King Osborne, age 66, passed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. Judy lived many years in Richmond, VA where she was employed by Food Lion. She later moved to Bristol, VA and was employed at the Meadowview Branch of BB&T.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, James William and Mattie Beatrice Hall King; and sisters, Brenda Joyce Dalton and Wanda Gail Rouse.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years who lovingly and devotedly cared for her as her health declined, Greg Osborne; daughters, Angela Wiegand and husband Jonathan, and Michelle Anton and husband Jonathan, both of Statesville, NC; son, Greg Osborne, Jr. and wife Allison of Abingdon, VA; sister, Cindy Starling and husband Neal of Glen Allen, VA; grandchildren, Kai, Lorelai, and Ryker Osborne, and Oliver Anton; and several nieces and nephews. She dearly loved and was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren. They were her greatest joy in life.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA, with Pastor Allen Jessee officiating. Entombment will follow in the Serenity Gardens Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Greg Blackburn, Brian Hockett, Jonathan Wiegand, Jonathan Anton, Neal Starling, and Greg Osborne, Jr. serving as pallbearers. COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed.
