Justin Daniel "Bama" Taylor

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Daniel "Bama" Taylor on February 9, 2024, in Abingdon, VA. Justin was a loving son, brother, and friend, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on April 18, 1983, in Smyth County, VA, Justin brought joy and laughter to his family from the very beginning. He was a dedicated individual who had a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. This led him to pursue a career as an accountant for Food City, where he worked tirelessly to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial matters.

Justin's professional life was one filled with dedication and commitment. Colleagues admired his work ethic and his ability to find solutions to even the most complex financial challenges. He brought a sense of professionalism and integrity to every task he undertook.

Outside of his professional life, Justin was known for his love of Alabama football. He would often gather with friends and family to cheer on his beloved team and engage in spirited discussions about their success on the field. His enthusiasm for the game was truly infectious and drew people together.

Justin's educational journey began at Patrick Henry High School before he went on to attend National Business College. These experiences equipped him with the knowledge and skills that would pave the way for his successful accounting career.

Justin's passing leaves behind a void that will be difficult to fill. He is survived by his mother Sharon Brown Taylor, his brother Jason "Tater" Taylor, as well as several nieces and nephews who adored him. He is also preceded in death by his father Joseph Taylor. During this challenging time, our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as they come to terms with their loss.

In addition to his immediate family, Justin leaves behind a network of dear friends who were touched by his friendship and kind-hearted nature. He had a way of making those around him feel valued and cared for, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on February 12, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Funeral services for Justin will be held on February 12, 2024, at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA. The Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM, The address for the cemetery is 10069 Crescent Road, Glade Spring, VA 24340.
