Kathy Lynne Mann Kelly passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va. and was a graduate of Abingdon High School. Kathy attended Yellow Springs Church and was a former employee of KVAT. She loved and doted over her grandchildren.
Kathy was predeceased by her mother Gladys Mabe Mann, and her brothers Jeff and Kenneth Mann. She is survived by her son Brandon Mann and wife Misty of Bristol, Tenn.; her father Gilmer Mann; brothers Buddy Mann and wife Connie, Russell Mann and wife Debbie, all of Abingdon, and Bob Mann and wife Jane of Meadowview; grandchildren Bret and Shawn Mann, and Jacob and Tyler Lane.
A visitation for Kathy Lynne Mann Kelly will be held from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016, at Mt. View United Methodist Church. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dale Myers officiating. Casket bearers will be Brandon Mann, Mike McAlpin, Ron Hodgson, Brandon Marchant, Ryan Thompson, and John Johnson. Honorary bearers will be Bud Mann, Bob Mann, Russell Mann, Justin Mann, Chris Mann and Darryl Mabe.
Flowers are welcomed or friends may make contributions to the funeral home on behalf of the family.
