Kathy Miller

Meadowview, VA Kathy Jean Miller, age 52, passed on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center. Kathy attended Highlands Day Support where she had many friends. She loved the beach, traveling, and shopping. Kathy was an avid fan of wrestling, Virginia Tech and Emory & Henry Football. She is survived by her loving and caring father, Maynard Miller of Meadowview, VA; her devoted and caring sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Michael Younce of Meadowview, VA; her caring brothers, Mike Miller and his wife Rose of Bristol, TN and Tim Miller and his partner Krysse Davis of Meadowview, VA; nephews, D.J. Reynolds, Chad Miller, and Bobby Miller and his wife Haili; Great nieces, Megan Reynolds and Bella Miller; her special and devoted friends, Becky Oakes, Alberta “Copey” Copenhaver. A graveside will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Knollkreg Memorial Park with Bro. Ballard Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Miller, Tim Miller, Chad Miller, and Bobby Miller. Visitation with the family will be held 10:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Those wishing to travel in procession to the cemetery are asked to convene at the funeral home by 11:40 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to defray funeral expenses.
