Kenneth Lee Sells

Kenneth Lee Sells, age 62, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born June 1, 1959, to the late Robert Sells and Edna Rose Flinchum Sells in Washington County. He was a lifelong outdoorsman who loved farming and working with animals. Kenneth was also an auto detailer who was meticulous in his work. He was a 1978 graduate of Abingdon High School and was currently employed with Buchanan Oil Corporation.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ida Collins Flinchum; and a special cousin, Billy Bott.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Teresa Sells; two daughters, Kaselinn “Kasie” Viers and husband, Alex, of Bristol, Va. and Chandra Parris of Abingdon, Va.; four grandchildren, Kassen Viers, Kerringtan Parris, Greysan Parris, and Channing Parris; and beloved St. Bernard, Wilma.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Craig Barber officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to convene at the funeral home on Friday before 12:30 p.m. to travel in procession. Pallbearers will be Mario Olvera, Greysan Parris, Kolton Powers, Sammy Sells, and Alex Viers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret B. Mitchell Spay/Neuter Clinic, 16222 Lee Hwy., Bristol, Va. 24202.
