Junior Thomas

Kermit "Junior" Willard Thomas, Jr., age 60, passed on Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home. Mr. Thomas was a farmer for many years and believed strongly in God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Willard Thomas, Sr., and Virgie Mae Reed Thomas; sister, Pauline Mullins; and special niece, Susie Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patsy Widener Thomas; two step-daughters, Christina Flores and husband Freddie, and Angela Perry; four sisters, Patsy Green and husband Steve, Rachel Thomas, Sue Thomas and Angel Thomas; five grandchildren, Jason Barlow and wife Christy, Candy Vicars and husband Jamie, Stephanie Greer and husband Stan, Harold Perry, and Joshua Perry; six great-grandchildren, Emily Barlow, Hollie Barlow, Ryelin Barlow, Heidi Greer, Abby Greer, and Alec Perry; special niece, Jessica Morrison and fiancee J.R. Bowman; nieces and nephews, Peanut (Alexis) Thomas, Marion Thomas, James Thomas, Martin Thomas, and Kim Green; and special great nieces and nephews, Hailey Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Christian Morrison, Melinda Morrison, Andrew Bowman, Auburn Bowman, and Isaiah Bowman; and special friend, Fred Thomas.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Rev. Mark Baumgardner officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Pallbearers will be Chris "Peanut" Thomas, Marion Thomas, Chris "Fred" Thomas, J.R. Bowman, Cody Mutter, Martin Thomas, Stuart Thomas and Jody Thomas. Family and friends may visit at the residence of Fred Thomas, 17312 Liberty Hall Dr., Glade Spring, VA 24340, at any time.
