Kimberly Peterson Gretz, age 54, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was born in Virginia Beach, Va., and was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Old Dominion University. Kim was a fearless human being who was driven to succeed at whatever she did. She never met a stranger, was a friend to all, and never stopped talking.

She is preceded in death by her son, Andrew R. Mullins. She is survived by daughter Casey L. Mullins and her fiancé Jessie A. Matthews; mother Nancy L. Inazu and stepfather Donald A. Inazu; father Donald A. Peterson and his wife Donna K. Peterson; sisters Leslie J. Peterson, Tracey P. Stanley, Alison I. Griggs, Lauren P. Tornetta, and Lindsey P. Stutz; several nephews and a niece; and a loving and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Southern Manna Soup Kitchen of Glade Spring, Va. Visitation and refreshments will be held on Saturday, February 18 from 2-4 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall at Glade Spring Presbyterian Church in Glade Spring, Va., followed by a graveside service.
