Kyle Blaine Church, Sr., 63, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 in Flagstaff, AZ.
He liked to fish and spend time with his family.
Kyle was born in Clintwood, VA and he was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam.
Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Carson Church; his mother, Gustava Moore Church; and his sister, Mildred Louise Church.
Surviving are his children, Teresa Mullins (David Rose) and Kyle "Blaine" Church, Jr. (Angie); grandchildren, P.J., Kaylee and Tanner Mullins; Kaitlyn and Isaiah Rose; Courtney, April and Dakota Church; Curtis Mullins; Ryan and Austin Grizzle; and Nichole and Ethan Rose; sisters, Elizabeth Bowman (Frank) and Ruth Shortt; brothers, Larry Church (Jolinda) and James Church (Freda)
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Daniel Church, Josh Church, Richard Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Scottie Stallard and Andy Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Bowman, Steve Bowman, Doug Swindall, Curtis Mullins, Daniel Sutherland, Tommy Shortt and David Rose. Military honors will be conducted by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and the Virginia National Guard Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
