Linda Ann Price Stevens

Linda Ann Price Stevens, age 69, passed away on October 15, 2021. She was born on May 12, 1952 in Saltville, Virginia. She retired from the Russell County school system after many years of service. She was also a cub scout leader, girl scout leader, and was a member of the Cleveland and Lebanon Lifesaving Crews where she worked as an EMT for several years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a caregiver to all, and the best cook ever. She always made sure everyone was taken care of. Her absence leaves a hole in our hearts. She lived her life by Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Price and Kate Price; and brother Dennis Price.

She leaves behind her husband of nearly 50 years, Henry Stevens; her son Edward Stevens; daughter Kristin Stevens; two grandsons Christian and Patryk Stevens; and one granddaughter Kasey Klier. She also leaves behind her sisters Dixie Page (Tim) of Farmville Virginia; and Debbie Hurley (Joe) of Oxford Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

A committal service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Les Ketron and Pastor Bryan Ellis officiating. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Les Ketron and Pastor Bryan Ellis officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Central Baptist Church, located at 24461 Mock Knob Rd, Abingdon, Va. 24211.
