Linda Boyd Leonard

Linda Boyd Leonard, age 75, passed away on January 16, 2022. She was born to the late Homer C. Boyd and Lacy Dare Woodward Boyd, of Meadowview, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Allen Leonard, founder of Leonard Roofing Company; step-grandchild, Isaac Austin Leonard; step-son, John Avery Leonard; sisters, Mamie Buck, Lillian Artrip, Shirley Stallard, and Alta Price; brothers, Homer C. Boyd, Jr., Earnest Boyd, Harold Boyd, Jackie Boyd, and Frederick Boyd.

Survivors include her brother, John R. Boyd, and his wife, Peggy, of Meadowview, Va.; step-son, Dennis Leonard and his wife, Heather, of Bristol, Va.; step-grandchildren, Diana L. Ehrhart, Lakyn Stratton, and Ava Leonard; special sister-in-law, Thelma VanderKooi; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family requests that those wishing to send flowers instead make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Isaac Austin Leonard. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Knollkreg Memorial Park with Pastor Stan Anderson officiating.
