Linda Lee Brown, 78 of Abingdon, VA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2021 after a brief illness. Linda Lee, as she was known, was an avid jewelry designer, art maker, and songstress. Her love for all thing’s “art” showed in her brilliant creativity and beauty of all things she created whether it was a paintbrush, a pencil or a gem. She was in the first class of Abingdon High School and was the first student body president. Linda Lee enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and was a charter member of The Golden Girls. She treasured her special friendship with Carmen Camp and Carole Blevins. Linda was as beautiful inside as she was outside.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beatrice Jerrue; and her beloved sister, Jennifer Jerrue Bradley.
She is survived by her loving sons, Todd Hargroves and wife Dar of Abingdon, VA. and John Hargroves of Glade Spring, VA.; grandchildren, Hannah Hargroves of Johnson City, TN., Alaina Hargroves of Bristol, TN., Carley Hargroves of Abingdon, VA., and Preston Hargroves of Bristol, VA.
