Linda Saddler

Linda Sue Watkins Saddler, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 3, 1950, to the late John Wesley Watkins and Anna Lee Yokley Watkins. Linda was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. She enjoyed reading period pieces and romance novels. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son Wesley P. Rhoaten, two brothers, Donald Watkins and Wesley Watkins; and one sister, Julia Alexander.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, James (Jim) Saddler; one daughter Heather Lynn Wendt and husband Timothy; two sisters, Deborah Damren and Patricia Bebber; two grandchildren, Cody Ryan Wendt (Hannah Thompson) and Allyssa Ann Wendt (Nicholas Bradley) and one great-grandchild, Lorelei Grace Wendt.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor David Robins officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to be at the cemetery by 12:45 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
