Linda Watson Booher, 64, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
She was born January 4, 1947 and was a daughter of the late George and Melva Neal Watson. She was a kind, Christian woman who loved her family and her grandchildren. She was blessed with many good friends and a talent for cooking. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Revival Center Independent Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Booher; brothers, George Watson, Harmon Watson and Jimmy Watson; and sister, Marie Clark.
Survivors are her sons, Johnny F. Booher and wife, Pamela of Abingdon, Gregory W. Booher and wife, Tammy of Lebanon, VA, Mark A. Booher and wife, Sheena of Bristol, VA and Paul E. Booher and wife, Cheri of Bristol, TN; brother, Billy Watson and wife, Linda of Jamestown, TN; sister, Barbara Mutter and husband, Ronnie of Bristol, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Martin and husband, Daniel, Gregory Booher, Jr., Matthew Booher, Taylor Short, Zachary Booher and Joshua Booher, great grandchildren, Korbin, Abigail and Jonnie; sisters-in-law, Betty Watson, Audrey Watson, Vicki Watson and Hazel Widener and husband, Dale; brothers-in-law, Fred Clark and Harvey Spence and several nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend special thanks to Barbara and Ronnie Mutter, Harvey Spence and Milas and Mary Frank and to everyone that has prayed, sent cards or expressed words of comfort.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Brother Shean Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons and David Blankenship and Dave Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Denton and John Denton.
The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2011 or anytime at the Booher home, 15508 Industrial Park Road, Bristol, VA.
