Lloyd Douglas Patzke, age 59, of Meadowview, Va. and formerly of Michigan and California, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February, 22, 2016. He was born to Frank Albert Patzke and Evelyn Louise Keaner Patzke on December 14, 1956, in Port Huron, Mich. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, was employed as a butcher at several grocery stores, and was a member of Damascus Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Helen Marie Cadle Patzke; parents, Frank and Evelyn Patzke of Meadowview, Va.; two sons, Tony Williams and wife Renee and Michael Williams all of Abingdon, Va.; two daughters, Margie West of Bristol, Va. and Debbie Blankenship and husband Terreal of Beckley, W.Va.; sister, Pamela Alexander and fiance Charles Taylor III of Abingdon, Va.; two aunts, Donna Johnson of Placentia, Cali. and Addie Rehberg of Port Huron, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Justin Greer, Bri Blankenship, Allison Ferguson, Jacky Greer, Kimberly Ferguson, Marissa Blankenship, and Clayton West; three nieces, Skye Alexander, Nova Alexander Collins and husband Will, and Hope Alexander; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defer the cost of final expenses.
