Abingdon, VA – Loma Joyce Mink Crosswhite, age 76, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Loma was an employee of Abingdon Cleaners for over 20 years and was a member of the Abingdon Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Loma is preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley Mink and Doshia Stevens Mink, and sister, Wanda Mink Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert D. Crosswhite; daughter, Diana Crosswhite of Richmond, VA; brother, Frank Mink and wife Joyce of Abingdon, VA; sisters, Judith Mink of Abingdon, VA and Wilma Davis and husband Robert of Mountain City, TN; grand fur-children, Snuggles and Toots; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation with the family will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to the Abingdon Bible Church, in Mrs. Crosswhite’s name.
