Loma Kay Campell Whittaker, age 45, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her home. Kay attended Gospel Tabernacle Church and was a wonderful and loving mother, wife, and daughter.
She leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Darrell Whittaker; daughters, Lexi Whittaker of the home and Tabitha Whittaker of Bristol, TN; sons, Brett (Tasha) Whittaker and Brandon Whittaker, both of Abingdon; father and step-mother, Jerry and Judy Campbell of Bristol, VA; mother and step-father, Pamela and Clarence Ayers of Roanoke, VA; brothers, Brad Campbell of Roanoke, VA and Jerry Campbell, II of Bristol, VA; grandchildren, Bailee, Montana, Chandler, and Xavier; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Willie and Gladys Whittaker; and special aunt, Liz Smith of Piney Flats, TN.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Knollkreg Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor David Robins officiating. Those who wish to attend the service are asked to convene at the mausoleum by 11:00 a.m. There will be no visitation.
