Lora "June" Lloyd, 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at her home.
She was born to the late Willard Young and Blanche Douglas Young. She is also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Emmett Lloyd; grandson, Zachary Taylor Pickels; one sister, Billie Siller; and one brother, Jerry Young.
She is survived by one son Nathaniel Lloyd and wife Deidre of Miami, FL; two daughters, Brenda Boone and husband Bobby of Abingdon, VA and Gail Otey and husband Lee of Bristol, VA; six grandchildren, Josh Boone and wife Crystal, Spencer Otey, Carson Otey, Austin Lloyd, Jessica Lloyd, and Preston Lloyd; two brothers, Spencer Young of Lafollette, TN and Charlie Young of Abingdon, VA; one sister, Helen Mitchell of Mountain City, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Reverend Raymond White officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Boone, Lee Otey, Josh Boone, Spencer Otey, Carson Otey, Austin Lloyd, and Preston Lloyd. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
