Loretta Hayden McCauley

Loretta Hayden McCauley, passed Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Bristol Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of Green Spring Presbyterian Church. Mrs. McCauley was a 1951 graduate of Wallace High School and was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Milton and Nora Elizabeth Booher Hayden; brothers; Arthur, Orville, Albert and Roy Hayden; sisters, Garnetta Carrier and Helen Browning.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl McCauley of Bristol, VA; son, Kevin McCauley of Bristol, VA; daughters, Cathy McCauley of Charlotte, NC and Dr. Cindy (Scott Hummel) McCauley of Greensboro, NC; brothers, Hugh (Ruth) Hayden of Bristol, VA and Haines Hayden of Meadowview, VA; sister, Lurah Haworth of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Crystal, Kevin Thomas and Ashley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Green Spring Presbyterian Church, 22007 Green Spring Church Road, Abingdon, VA 24211, with Rev. Jon Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Green Spring Presbyterian Cemetery with Bucky Buchanan, Ricky Hall, Tom Deaton, Blair Keller, Dean Haworth and Dallas Hayden serving as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be 4-7P.M. Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Green Spring Presbyterian Church General Fund, 22007 Green Spring Church Road, Abingdon, VA 24211.
