Lydia Ann Fullen, age 103, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Deer Meadows in Abingdon, VA. She was born in Saltville, Virginia to the late George Fullen and Maggie Fullen on June 27, 1920. Lydia loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She witnessed 6 generations of her family during her lifetime.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jesse Howard Butler; fourteen siblings; special niece, Joann Richardson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews and her great through great-great-great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service Main Street Chapel, 427 E. Main Street.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Farris Funeral Service Main Street Chapel at 2:00 PM with Elder Billy Fullen officiating. Graveside services will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
