Margaret Elizabeth Ferguson Osborne, 91, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Countryside Manor Retirement Center in Stokesdale, NC. Margaret, the daughter of Will and Bessie Ferguson! Was born in Cleveland, VA in 1920, and, even though she and Jack lived in several other places during their marriage, Cleveland was always the place she considered home.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her brother, Bob Ferguson, and her sisters, Mary Midgette and Myrtle Valley. She is survived by her brother, Bill Ferguson and wife Sylvia, of Abingdon, VA, her daughters, Sara Musick and husband Sam of Marion, VA and Jackie Maddox and husband Michael, of Madison, NC. Also surviving are her granddaughters, Cecile Rosenbaum and husband, Chad of Abingdon, VA, Ann Graham and husband David of Jonesville, VA, and great-grandchildren, Chandler Rosenbaum, Emily and Sarah Graham. Margaret is also survived by several special nieces and nephews and two grand dogs, Norman, Maggie Sara and Roy.
The family would like to thank the staff at Countryside Village and Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC for the wonderful care given to Margaret; special thanks to Dorajean whom Margaret considered her friend as well as her care-giver.
A memorial service will be held at Farris Funeral Service on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Jonathan Jonas and the Reverend Linda Stransky officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service or friends may call at the home of Sam and Sara Musick in Marion at any time.
