Margaret Gobble Frayser passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012.
She was born in Washington County, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Arthur Richard and Hazel Dell Gobble. She had lived in Alexandria, VA and was the former Deputy Clerk of Appomattox, VA and a former Clerk at the Pentagon with the Dept. of the Army before returning to Washington County in 1989. She was a member of Abingdon Baptist Church and the Senior Couples Class there.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edwin Frayser; and uncle, Howard Gobble.
She is survived by her aunt Bly Gobble Barger of Meadowview, VA; brother-in-law, William Guy Frayser of Richmond, VA; special cousin, Cindy Coleman of Glade Spring, VA; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Dr. Steven W. Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Jones, Jerry Coleman, Ronnie Doss, Tommy Wilcox, David Gobble, and Jim Gobble.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Abingdon Baptist Church.
