Margaret Juanita Beavers Boothe, 88, of Abingdon, Va., has been reunited with her parents, two brothers, a sister, husband and two sons. Granny was always a hard worker, being married to a farmer, Emit M. Boothe, Sr., for 40 years and raising seven kids. She had lived the past 33 years on the Fogleman Farm in Abingdon, where they treated her like family. Prior to that, she had lived in Lebanon on Mocassin Creek.She was the daughter of Charlie and Caroline Beavers, sister of Pauline Branson, Creed Beavers and Darness Beavers. She joins in Heaven her husband, Emit M. Boothe, Sr., and sons Harold W. Boothe and Emit M. Boothe, Jr.
Left to treasure her memory are children Nancy Ashley of Abingdon, Liddia Owens (Puchie) and Barry Jennings of Meadowview, Delphia Hauser and husband Ken of Elizabethton, Tenn., Thomas Boothe of Abingdon, and Bobby Boothe and wife Suzanne of Abingdon; grandkids Harold W. Boothe, Jr. of Abingdon, Jessica Crutchfield of Chilhowie, Va., Justin Boothe of Jonesboro, Tenn., and Brittany Boothe of Bristol; seven great-grandkids and many friends over the years.
The funeral service for Juanita Boothe will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Ken Hauser officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memory Gardens where pallbearers will be Earl Fogleman, Jim Fogleman, Mike Fogleman, Bakari Andrew, Ben Bowman and Rick Sweeney. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the funeral home.
