Margaret Louise Frazier, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009 with her family by her side.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and husband of 55 years, Paul.
Margaret was born in Elkhorn, WV. She and her family moved to Bristol in 1958. Margaret managed the Top Value Stamp Store until her retirement. Margaret was an avid crafter, using her talents to make many crafts and treasures for others to enjoy.
Margaret leaves behind a wonderful family that she loved. Her son, Ronnie and wife, Phyllis; her daughter, Linda Mathes and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Ronnie Paul Mathes, Chris Frazier, Josh Frazier, Brande Doss; great granddaughter, Taylor Doss; special sisters, Ima Jean Ingle and husband, Jack, Mary Adams and husband, Albert, and Rachel Cook; brother, Bill Pickett and wife, Glenna; special nieces, Janet Statzer and Dee Dee Ingle and other nieces and nephews.
Margaret had many causes that she was an advocate for. Very dear to her heart were The American Ex-Prisoners of War (her husband Paul being an Ex-POW himself) of which she continued to be active in the chapter named in his honor after his death. Margaret was a two-time cancer survivor and found much comfort and inspiration from the Survivors of Breast Cancer Support Group of Bristol.
Margaret touched the lives of many. Those who knew her were inspired by her generosity, faithfulness, devotion to a cause and true genuine way about herself. There are many angels among us and she truly was one. She will be missed by all that she graced.
