Marie B. Weaver

Meadowview, VA- Mrs. Marie B. Weaver, age 78, passed away on Thursday August 13, 2015 in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Washington County, VA. Marie retired from Harwood Manufacturing Corporation and she was a member of the Washington Chapel United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a caring, giving and loving person, who always put her family first. Marie was a predeceased by her husband Robert Weaver, her parents Mack and Vergie Mae Bailey; sisters Mary Ruth Humphreys and Jean Moretz and brother Bruce Bailey. Left to cherish her memory are her son Johnny Tedder and wife Velvet of Bristol, VA, daughter Julie Hudnall and husband John of Meadowview, VA; sister Frances Thomas of Abingdon, VA and grandchildren Jennifer Walton, Daniel Walton, Christopher Tedder, Kristy Tedder, Jade Hyder and Paige Tedder. Paige was a special grandchild as she provided love, care and nurturing to her grandmother during her illness. Six great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Larry Lusk and Rev. Mark McFadden officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens where Wesley Barker, Eli Helbert, Ethan Mullins, Newton Austin and James Hamilton will serve as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday August 17, 2015 at the funeral home.
