Marie Pierce, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Meadowview, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Charles and Sallie Mae Henegar. After her marriage to her first husband, Robert Edward Pierce she moved to Maryland where she lived until the early 70's when she returned to Washington County. She retired from Bristol Compressors with 24 years of service and was a devoted wife, mother and #1 Granny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Edward Pierce; brothers, Kenneth Henegar and his wife, Doe, Clarence Henegar and Reese Henegar, and brother-in-law, Jack Berry.

Survivors are her husband, James David Keith; daughter, Angela Warren of Bristol, VA; sisters, Edith Berry of Mooresville, NC and Peggy Bailey and husband, Eddie of Meadowview, VA; brothers, Bobby Henegar and wife, Shirley of Meadowview, VA and Wayne Henegar and wife, Brenda of Riner, VA; sister-in-law, Patsy Henegar; brother-in-law, Johnny Pierce; granddaughter, Shawna Nicole Johnson and husband, Chris of Bristol, TN; grandson, Skyler Dwayne Singleton of Bristol, VA; special niece, Susie Delph and husband, Larry of Mooresville, NC and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pierce will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 6, 2010 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Carl Young and Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. Interment will follow in Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Glade Spring. Pallbearers will be Bernard Neese, Skyler Singleton, Chris Johnson, Tom McMullen, John Smith and Tony Burnette.
