Mark Alan Hale

Mr. Mark Alan Hale, age 57, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in his home. He was born March 26, 1959 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Jack David Hale and Margaret Hancock Hale.

Mark was retired from UPS with over thirty years of service. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, NFL football, and spending time at home with his cat.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Carlee Hale of Glade Spring; son, Trevor Cardwell and wife, Rachel of Glade Spring; two brothers, David Hale and wife, Deborah of Abingdon and Chris Hale and wife, Mary Jess of Abingdon; mother of his daughter and special friend, Linda Hale of Glade Spring; and special friends, Mike and Debbie Moore of Abingdon, Tom McFadden of Meadowview, and Al Arnold of Abingdon.

A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Ed Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service.
