Marion, Va. – Mary Evelyn Worley, age 82, passed away at her home on January 2, 2021. She was born August 15, 1938, in Washington County, Virginia, to the late King and Della Mae Worley.
Mary was a church member of the Holiness faith. She loved flower gardening, drawing pictures, and quilting. She will always be remembered fondly as having a great sense of humor, always able to make you laugh. Mary was always especially excited when new babies came into the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over twenty years, Leroy Tuggle; two sons, Ricky Lee Tuggle, and Gerald Wayne Tuggle; three sisters, Ethel Scyphers, Leona Townsend, and Annis Terry; and one brother, Calvin Lewis Worley.
Mary is survived by her precious family: son, Randy Tuggle and wife Michelle; daughter, Teresa Coalson and husband Cecil; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Tuggle; brother, James Carlton Worley; ten grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 1:00 PM, in Pine Hill Cemetery, 16655 Pine Hill Rd, Bristol, VA 24202, with Preacher Roger O'Quinn officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to convene at the cemetery. COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed.
