Mary Louise Wilkey

Abingdon, VA – Mary Louise Wilkey, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mary was a native of Englewood, OH, and lived there until moving to Abingdon, VA in 2001 to be near her daughter and her family. She was a retired employee of the Dayton, OH Health Department. Mary endeared herself to others by being a very good listener. She was a lover of all animals. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Harold Danley and Florence Adams Welch; and son, Martin Lloyd Wilkey. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Wilkey and her husband Matthew Oyos of Abingdon, VA; and her grandchildren, Gillian and Hayden Oyos, who were the light of her life. A memorial service honoring the life of Mary Louise Wilkey will be held in her native state of Ohio at a later date.
