Mary Nell Goodman Wesson

Mary Nell Goodman Wesson, age 78, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Millard Goodman and Martha J. Hinchey Goodman. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Theola M. Goodman.

She is survived by her son, David L. Creger of Bristol, VA; her brother, Eugene F. Goodman and wife Reba of Roanoke; her grandchildren Joshua A. Creger of Bristol, TN, and Sarah R. Christian and husband Chris of Blountville, TN; and great-grandchild, Maston A. Creger. She is also survived by her best friend, Catherine Ketron, and her special friend, Jacquie Roark.

The funeral service for Mary Nell Goodman Wesson will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with the Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
