Mary Rosenbaum Reynolds Sullins, age 77, of Abingdon, Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. She was born March 23, 1945, in Abingdon, Va., to the late Robert A. Rosenbaum and Susie K. Rosenbaum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Elizabeth Mitchell, Francis Marlowe, and Betty King; and seven brothers: June Jones, Leonard Rosenbaum, Bobby Rosenbaum, Jerry Rosenbaum, Gene Rosenbaum, Donnie Rosenbaum, and Johnny Rosenbaum.
Mary is survived by her three daughters: Terri Owens and husband Joe, Billie Jo Fryar and husband Joe, and Angela Reynolds; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Janie Bowman; one brother, James Rosenbaum; numerous nieces and nephews; former spouse Raymond Sullins and his children Jeffrey Sullins, Bobby Sullins, and Brenda Ottinger.
While a hard worker, Mary was also a compassionate and loving person, one that always put others before herself. She loved her family with all of her heart, and spending time with them meant the world to her. Mary found relaxation in working on puzzles, as well as sewing and quilt making. As a devoted Christian, in trying times such as these, Mary would say, “God’s got this.”
