Maude Ingle Woodyard

Maude Ingle Woodyard, age 95, passed on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.  Maude grew up in Abingdon, VA and was a graduate of Greendale High School.  She moved to Northern Virginia as a young adult and was a longtime employee of the United Mineworkers Association.  Maude was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Ella McCroskey Ingle, and husband, Howard W. Woodyard.

She is survived by her sister, Louise Ingle Wampler; nephews, Billy Wayne Wampler, Clarence Wampler, Chip Woodyard, Brent Alan Woodyard; niece, Teri Watson; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Randy Williams officiating.
