Bristol, VA – Maxwell T. Osborne, age 89, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, MD, after which, he owned and operated a campground in Burnville, PA. Maxwell moved to Bristol 17 years ago. He was a staunch Oriole Fan.
Maxwell was predeceased by his parents Roy and Betty McReynolds Osborne.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Osborne; step daughters Debbie Thornberry and husband George, and Carol Seninan and husband Ben; step grandchildren, Kristen Repka and George Michael Thornberry; step great grandson Hunter Repka; sisters Shirley White, Rita Dotson, and Irene Osborne; and brother Neal Osborne.
The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:30 PM on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Friends and family will go in procession to Forest Hills Memory Gardens for a 2:00 PM graveside service, officiated by Pastor Tim Clark. Casket bearers will be selected from family and friends.
