Michael Wayne Russ passed away peacefully at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia on May 27, 2024 at the age of 30 years old.
Michael loved hunting, fishing and camping. His favorite fishing spots were Hidden Valley Lake and being on the farm he was raised on.
Michael is survived by his parents David and Becky Russ; grandmother, Rosa Russ; sister, Catherine Sherlock; brother, Brent Russ; nephews, James Sherlock, Colt Russ, Remington Russ and niece Makenzie Sherlock.
Michael's ashes will be scattered at his favorite spot on the family farm.
