Michael Stephen Sawyer

Bristol, VA – Michael Stephen Sawyer, age 70, passed on Monday, December 26, 2022, at his home.  Mr. Sawyer was a graduate of Alisal High School and Hartnell Community College.  He was a longtime employee of Servo Corp.  Mr. Sawyer lived most of his life in California before moving to Virginia to be closer to his family in 2020. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Esther Ulrich Sawyer; son, Rick Sawyer and wife Yvette; granddaughter, Katlyn Sawyer; and siblings, Corky Sawyer, David Sawyer, and Mary Hollander; and several nieces and nephews.

At Mr. Sawyer’s request, there will be no services.
