Mr. Mickey Richey, 78, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018.
Mickey was born in New Castle, Indiana and was a graduate of Summit High School in 1958. After graduation he joined the United States Navy where he served honorably until 1964.
Mickey is preceded in death by his father, Mendel Richey; mother, Lois Downs, sister, Diane Jongsma, and grandparents, Lee H. Richey and wife Memory Richey.
Mickey is survived by his wife of forty years, Karen E. Richey; daughters Kelly M. Heath, and Terra B. Fulton and husband Dewey Fulton; son Matthew L. Richey and also a special grandson, Jordan T. Richey and his wife Magen B. Richey; one brother, Duane Downs of California; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of long-time friends.
The memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m.Thursday, April 19, 2018 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Chaplain Eric Hinchey officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and the United States Navy.
