Mildred Heath "Zella" McCray
April 3, 1932 — April 26, 2020
Mildred Heath McCray “Zella” passed away on Sunday, April 26,2020 with her daughter at her side reading Bible verses and playing songs such as How Great Thou Art.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 66 years, Paul E. McCray. She has two daughters, Paula M. Proctor (Dale) and JoEllen M. Liles (Fred); three granddaughters that she loved and would light up even at the mention of their names: Sarah, Elizabeth, and Emily; and two great-grandchildren Zella Raine (named after her great-grandmother) and Braiden Paul (named after his great-grandfather).
Mildred “Zella” loved God and her family with all of her heart. She is now free of confusion and pain and she is walking the streets of gold.
A private family graveside service is planned with a celebration of life planned at a later time.
The family would like to thank Manor Care of Dunedin, Suncoast Hospice, and the many that have helped us during this journey.
