Glade Spring, VA – Mildred Pearl Moore Yarber, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 02, 2015, at her home. Mildred cleaned homes and worked for Yarber Chair for many years. She attended Landmark Baptist Church and will be truly missed by all who loved her. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, John and Bonnie Hampton Moore; five brothers; five sisters; and son-in-law, Dwight Crosswhite. She is survived by her children, Rita Crosswhite and husband Ralph, Debbie Buckles and husband Joe, Judy Crosswhite, Edward Yarber, Jr. and wife Sharrie, William Yarber and wife Sheri, and John Yarber and wife Vickie; sister, Shelby Hoss and husband Dennis; brothers, Ben Moore and wife Sissy, and Wayne Moore; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery with Bro. Edward Yarber, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny Crosswhite, David Crosswhite, Jerry Crosswhite, Adam Buckles, Joshua Yarber (U.S. Army), Zachary Mitchell, Joe Yarber, and Randy Doss. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Moore, Wayne Moore, Dennis Hoss, Ralph Crosswhite, Joe Buckles, Mark Leuzinger (U.S. Navy), Anthony Sutherland (U.S. Air Force), Tracy Yarber, Len Yarber , and John Saltz. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery. The family would like to thank Teresa Pennington, Pat Surber, Tisha Gobble, and Chaplain Wilson of Hometown Hospice for their loving care during Mildred’s illness.
