Minnie Agnes Miller

Minnie Agnes Barr Miller, age 89 passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012. Mrs. Miller graduated from Barrack High School in 1942 and supported the war effort by working in the shipyard during WWII. She was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church and retired from Cedar Lawn Health Care.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sydney Columbus Barr and Nancy Elizabeth Herron Barr; husband, Charles Jefferson Miller; grandson, Jeff White; son-in-law, Ronnie White; four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her son, Bobby (Jo Ann) Miller of Meadowview, VA; two daughters, Connie White of Cape Canaveral, FL and Sarah (Sam) Lamie of Glade Spring, VA; five grandchildren, Todd (Julie) White, Mark (Michelle) Miller, Melissa (Ronnie) Harrington, Tim (Lindsay) Lamie and Laura Lamie; three great-grandchildren, Madison Miller, Miles Harrington and Preston Harrington; several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 P.M. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Main Street Location of Farris Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held after the new year at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Tom Capron officiating. Interment will follow in Greenfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Mark Miller, Tim Lamie, Ronnie Harrington, Lloyd Alexander, Sydney Barr and Vernie Miller serving as pallbearers. Henry Casey, Todd White and nephews will be honorary pallbearers.
