Miranda Kelly Compton infant daughter of Jennene Compton and Daniel Hayton passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert Thomas.
Survivors, in addition to her parents; include her maternal grandmother, Tonda Thomas, Glade Spring; maternal grandfather, Carson Compton of Chesapeake, VA; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Sherry Hayton of Saltville; half brother, Patrick Hayton of Saltville; three aunts, Amanda Thomas and Jackie Stoots both of Glade Spring and Anna Grace Carter of Elizabethton, TN; four uncles, Jonathan Hayton and David Hayton both of Elizabethton, TN and Jamie Hayton and Phillip Hayton both of Saltville; two cousins, Tonya Stoots and Deana Thomas both of Glade Spring.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 29, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with the Rev. Barbara Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Glade Spring. Pallbearers will be Jackie Stoots, Carol Doss, Robbie Thomas and Jamie Hayton. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Steffey, Steve McCall and Harold Puckett.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Farris Funeral Service or at anytime at the home of Tonda Thomas, 35174 Loves Mill Road, Glade Spring, VA.
